Install Microsoft Office 365 FOR FREE!

Did you know The University of Toronto has a license agreement with Microsoft for Office 365. As a Staff or Faculty member, you qualify for five free downloads of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite for personal use.

TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL YOUR FREE COPY OF OFFICE 365:

1. Sign into your Office 365 account via https://mail.utoronto.ca
2. Click on your name at the top right corner, then click “My Account”. (See image below for reference.)

 

3. Select “Office apps” from the side bar or on “Manage” in the right pane under Office apps.
(Note: If you already activated on more than 5 devices, you will need to deactivate a previously-used device license to successfully install Office 365.)

 

4. Select the version of MS Office you want to download. If your system supports 64-bit, select 64-bit. Click "Install Office". (See image below for reference.)

 

5. When prompted, save the installation file. Open the installation file and follow the instructions to install Office 365.

 

 

Voilà! You now have copies of Office 365 to call your own!
