How to connect to UofT wireless network?
Wi-Fi access for U of T students, faculty and staff is provided through the 'UofT' Wi-Fi Network on all three UofT campuses.
U of T students, faculty and staff visiting other institutions which are part of the eduroam Wi-Fi network, can log in to ‘eduroam’ network by entering [UTORid]@utoronto.ca (replace with your UTORid) and password.
Visitors to U of T
The eduroam network at U of T is intended for visiting scholars from other participating eduroam institutions. Visitors from participating institutions can connect to the eduroam Wi-Fi network using their home institution credentials.
Before leaving your home institution, check that your device can connect to the eduroam Wi-FI network. If you encounter any issues, contact your institution’s help desk for assistance.
For visitors who are unable to access the eduroam Wi-Fi network, guest UTORids can be sponsored by U of T faculty or staff members. These UTORids, which begin with “QQ” followed by six digits, can be used by visitors to connect to campus wireless for five days.
To create a guest UTORid, visit the guest UTORid page and follow the instructions.
Guest UTORids cannot be shared. Each guest UTORid can only be assigned to one visitor.
